This post is nothing about Germany, except that I am in Germany, and missing Adam. Today is the 2 year anniversary of his death, and I just wanted to write about him.
Here are a couple pictures from winter 2007.
The first is from a little photo shoot I did of us for our Christmas card that year.
This is Adam in his Animal Control uniform during the first (and I think only) snowfall in Charlotte during that winter.
I wish I could have met him, Kate. I love you.
ReplyDeleteHe was an amazing friend, husband to Kate, lover of food, most of all he was the truest example we have ever known of a person having the light of Jesus shine through them naturally and genuinely. We miss him terribly. He made us feel important, appreciated, and loved with just a smile and a hug. When we had small group at house he would come over after work and just jump right in prepared and he would have great insight into whatever we were studying. Our daughter is named in his honor and memory - Addison.
