Last week the phone man came to set up my phone and internet. He got right to work, and after a couple minutes he asked me something, I stopped him and told him (in German) that I do not speak German that well, and was about to ask him to speak slower. Before I cold say anymore, he began to repeat himself louder! (Because, apparently it would be clearer if it were just louder!) I just smiled back and tried not to laugh out loud. And just one more incentive in my language learning.
This is hysterical. I can totally picture it.. usually an American mistake. Love ya A
