Every Sunday two people are responsible for making the coffee and setting everything up for the coffee time after church, and then cleaning up afterwards. I have been doing this with my friend for the past year and a half I think, maybe even the past two years! She is on the rotation again in 8 weeks, but with a new teammate.
It was not a goodbye to my friend, that will come later, as will our last afternoon coffee together. But it was the end of something that has been a part of my life here. There will be more 'lasts' for me in the coming weeks, all the while I am also still having some 'firsts'.
