I know Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow in Pennsylvania yesterday, which means six more weeks of winter, but I do not think his forecasting skills work here. It is currently a balmy 37 degrees and the sun was shining all day! I loved all the snow this winter, and still hope for more. The snow even helped me forget that I hardly saw the sun for days at a time. However, I was SO thankful to God for providing the clear blue skies and bright sunshine in Giessen today. The sunbeams were beautiful on the white snow, and did wonders to lift my mood after having had a mini language learning meltdown earlier in the week. I snapped a few photos as I was out and about in the fresh air and sunlight.
