Not having to spend my entire 9 hour layover at the airport= priceless!

Because of some leftover euros from my trip this past summer, I had enough cash to actually in Dublin, instead of in the airport, during most of my 9 hour layover. I arrived in the city while it was still dark on Sunday morning, very quiet too. But the sun soon came up, along with the temperature, and I was able to enjoy a few of the sites of Dublin from the top level of a double-decker bus. This little day trip also helped me stay awake and begin to adjust to my new time zone.
