it's August

and I'm typing from a Hungarian keyboard, so please forgive any mis-types I don't catch.

The week long Enlglish camp trip in Lich, Germany is over. It was a success! And that's really great to be able to say because I know, all of us on the team know, that it was only a success because God is so amazing. So thank you for your prayers and being with us on during the week through those prayers.

I was able to spend two and a half days in Vienna before arriving at Greater Europe Mission's annual conference this week. It is quite a big deal to be here as an appointee and not an 'official field missionary'. But I am glad for the opportunity to meet with other workers on the German field and elswhere in Europe too. Knowing more about what is going on in the German field with GEM will prepare me to recognize God's unfolding plan for me as he reveals more of it in the future.

I am tired though. Please pray that I will have the energy to overcome my shyness during the conference, and make connections with people. Thankfully, being an 'appointee' means I have a little extra time in my schedule for rest and refreshment.

I will be sending out another update soon with more details and photos from the English camp.
